Elda Maria Gallo

Persönlicher Weg:

Elda graduates from the dance-theatre program of „Paolo Grassi’s Accademy, Milan“ and at „SEAD Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance“. She dances internationally for Pietro Marullo-Insieme Irreali (BE), for Natiscalzi DT (IT), and for various productions of Theater Dschungel Wien (AT). She dances for the Austrian companies: TanzCoop, Vrum, Lazuz, Two in One Company, Puc and others.

Over the years she has worked with the following choreographers: Sebastian Zuber, Masako Matsushita, Rebecca Murgi, Eyal Bromberg, Lisa Magnan, Luca Signoretti, Matteo Marfoglia.

As a creator, she works for both young audiences and adult audiences.  She explores the theme of the relationship between humans and nature.

She is a certificated ContaKids facilitator, Pilates trainer and part of the teacher’s team of the Movement Lab

Contemporary:

In Eldas class through group games and improvisation tasks we awaken the alertness of the body and the awareness of space. We use floor work technique elements that lead us to a better understanding of our bodily structure as well as the use of gravity. We play with different body tonus, we explore generating momentum and find different body rhythms. We transport the floor work principles into standing movement, aiming to discover different movement qualities, find more trust in the body and feel both softness and sharpness in our physicality.

Last but not least: we enjoy our-dance-self!
